Документарный аккредитив, сопровождающийся специальным пунктом, в соответствии с которым покупатель может получить от банка-корреспондента авансом средства для покупки или организации производства товаров, подлежащих поставке согласно аккредитиву. Ответственность за обязательство несет банкэмитент аккредитива, а не банк-корреспондент. Условие называется красным, поскольку для привлечения внимания этот пункт вписывается чернилами красного цвета.
